11. Nd7# seems to be the most appealing to my eye. Black thinks that the White knight's blockade of the White queen has allowed Black to escape to the seventh rank via c7...only to realise that his doom comes from elsewhere.
It's like "jumping out of the frying pan into the fire".

Mates at the receiving end are ("always") not fun.... but the surprising ones jolts folks up... when a weird mate shows up outs of nowhere you wanna note it down.
