am newbie, lets play
Looking for other newbies to practice with

Hey! i'm not new, but my rating is not great! looking to improve. Happy to play if you want a game Daily games work for me.

I started playing again a few months back. I see all your stats are at 1200 which is where chess dot com starts new accounts. I recommend just getting in there and play several games to get your rating where it needs to be. It’s tough because if you’re 600-800 it takes some hard losses to get there, but once you are playing folks who are truly at your skill level it is a lot more fun.
Cheers!
Mike
I am also a newbie, happy to play with other beginners. I learnt the rules and how to play years ago but nothing more than how to move the pieces. getting back into it after watching Queens Gambit on Netflix. I am very low rating but looking to learn and improve.

I am new as well and would be happy to play you. I started for the first time in my life 3 months ago. I have watched Gothem Chess a ton, read Art of the Middlegame, done 80 learning activities and played 25 games with others. I improve each time. I have been told by several people they are beginners and then I play them and they were obviously not telling the truth. I assure you i'm a true beginner

That's a lot of responses. Sounds like we need a beginner section on the platform.
That is what the rating system is for. The only issue is chess dot com starts everyone out with 1200 and you have to lose a lot at first to get down to your actual elo... and that is not fun to do, but I highly recommend it!!! because was you are fighting in your weight class it is a lot more fun.
So right now I’m looking for some practice on longer games, 30mins +
