Oh... thank you.

Oh... thank you.
That's an interesting strategy, I'll try it out and see if it works
Yes.. yes... test my idea about playing in the end of the game.
But do it very carefully, because when you move forward your pawns... they can be attacked by Rook and minor pieces of your opponent.
To promote a pawn... to make it Queen... is not easy business. And this is why some 2000 points players expressed irony about the strategy that I suggest in this thread.
Op... another example of my idea of Chess endings for beginners.
In this game I felt many difficulties with my opponent's game. In fact post-game computer's analysis confirmed that. Computer said that my opponent had advantage over me almost all game.
But... there was a moment in the game... after Queens exchange... when I resorted to my idea about the pawns forward moving... that I described here. I pushed my pawns ahead !
And wow ! Guys,... I won literally in a few moves only !

Nice decisive shot there!
Pawn storming on the kingside was certainly a great idea there, but to be technical I wouldn't necessarily call the latter stages of this game an endgame as, even though the queens were off, there was still a lot of heavy material on the board.
My opinion if you want to know endings well you have to separate them to:
1. Pawn endings
2.Rook endings
3. Bishop endings
4.Queen endings
5. Rest
By knowing general rules in each one type of ending you will increase significantly in endings generaly.
Rook and pawn endings are by far more important than other ones.
Best regards Ivan

Oh Bryan, thank you for your words. They encourage me to play Chess and to not drop that.
And yes... I don't know the theory of endings well... and this position on the board can't be called "ending" in the full meaning of the word... as many heavy pieces are in game yet.

Ivan, it's so complex really. But I understand... In order to became a decent Chess player... Step by step I should learn all these types of endings.
And as I have not a coach... I should do it on my own. )

You need to know for example that all pawn endings generaly 2 on 1 , 3 on 2 pawns ets.. are wining, and 1 on 0 could be draw if it is about normal position.
Then for rook endgames you need to know generaly which are good chances to win which are big chances of drawing...
In my opinion before studying endgames it is useful to know generaly what to excpect in each endgame...
And for begginers, my advice is to not go into some hard endgames, just to understand basic concepts will be quite useful to make good progres in endgames,
Best regards Ivan
Ivan, okey.
I understand you. I do it little by little...
Now I start to watch video-lessons about how to play endings on youtube.
IM Levy posted a few such lessons also... on his personal site.
I already get that in my head... how important endings are !
Maybe I have a such low rating just because I play endings very bad... But seriously I play Chess only 3-4 years... So maybe this current my rating is my "ceiling" in Chess. I don't know...
But I would like sometime participate in one off-line Chess tournaments, of course. )
In order to test my real "force" in Chess.
I am afraid only that there is none of these in Moscow.

Based on the games you have shown you definitely have the ability to raise your rating.

If not in Moscow then where else on planet
In your case you should also go little deeper about some strategical ideas becouse when you are on 1600 it means that you passed some basics for sure.
Second thing about endings is not only to know them but to "use them", lot of players are affraid of changing queens becouse they dont know to asses generaly in which ending have bigger chances of winning
It's the other way around. In the endgame, the King should lead the Pawns, not follow them.
In this position (for example) pushing the Pawn is only a draw. Leading with the King will win.
It's true, of course.
But in my first post I meant more complicated Chess positions than this simple position with two Kings and one pawn.
When you have on the board a few pawns and one-two-three minor pieces.. I think... you should know some strategic principle for following.
And I suggested the such one.
