opening for black

Pick 1 opening against 1.e4 and 1 opening against 1.d4. That should cover you for most games. Also, congrats on your progress over the last few months. Start with 1.e4 as you will face that more often. Traditionally newer players play 1..e5 and 1..d5 to learn symetrical positions before expanding. So if you play 1.e5 that means you need to know Italian, Scotch and Ruy Lopez (fortunately you already know what to do with Vienna and Ponziani), so that leaves Four Knights, King's Gambit and Centre Game (as remaining 1.e4 that you will see). I think I noted them in order you will see the most at your rating, but four knights can appear much more than KG and CG. For 1.d4 you will see a lot of system players, so have something for London and Colle-Zukertort, and something for people who play a QG set up. Finally something for the Catalan. Don't do it all at once, just one at a time. Play against it, refer back to studied opening.

Hi @lime9009
I'd recommend the Caro-Kann against e4, and the Semi-Slav against d4. Both these openings are great for beginners to learn, but you can keep them all the way to 2000+ ELO. The advantage is you can learn solid openings, and many players around your rating will not know how to play against them either. But at the end of the day, understanding basic opening principles is much much more effective in improving your chess.
Hope this helps,
