I think you should play several or maybe about 10 openings to understand what opening is yours!
If you like attacking chess, then you should play attacking openings, like King's gambit, Scotch gambit and other open debuts.
If you like positional game, maybe you should try Ruy-Lopez debut, Scotch debut and others.
My adviсe: Try first to play King's gambit as a white, and Scandinavian defense as a black for move e4!

First of all, the exact opening lines are not that important to you as a beginner. You should follow the opening principles. Almost everything you need to know about the opening phase as a beginner, you may find here:

don't play openings yet, just open with standard center control and development and castle
When learning, focus on controlling the center of the board with castling with your king. Also use your strong suits, even if you are black or white, and go with what you are comfortable with.

as you improve you will be able to apply the “dont need to learn openings” technique
the problem many of us beginners have with this is “openings” chess wise involve dozens of moves and variations
in our games, we are mostly “out of book” by the second or third move so playing the current position is most important and relying on move orders from “openings” arent really relevant in these circumstances
so look at some of the classical openings for white and black
personally, i play 1.d4 as white and almost always 2. c4
against 1. e4 i play 1...c5 and against 1.d4 i play 1...d5
