OTB vs online chess

I just started to play chess in February and have been learning everyday. I’m rated 750ish but when I play otb, I play much better and beat my 1000 rated friend without any problems but when we play on chess.com he beats me so easily I don’t even no what to say after. Why am I better otb? What can I do to improve my online chess skills?
