Pirc response to Bc4?

Hi, how do you accurately interpret white's move: 5. Bc4 (as per image). I feel the threat of Ng5, pressuring my uncastled king through my weak F pawn. Or is it just to prepare e4-e5? I know e3 is a move but it feels like losing one move if I want to go e5 later.

That's a good idea. It also opens the diagonal for the queen to possibly pinning the knight if white hasn't castled. Thanks.

I get that a lot in my games. 6.Nxe4 is my usual response. After 6....Nxe4 7. d5 forking the bishop and knight.

I figured that out after a few moves:

isnt Bxf7+ possible after Nxe4?

It is. But shouldn’t cause black too many problems.
