So i was researching about daily chess games and apparently in official tournaments they let you have chess engines, but chess.com doesn't let you have engines that help you make better moves, what i don't have clear in my mind is if i was playing a position that i have in one of my Daily Games with the computer as an opponent, without it giving me my moves but giving good moves to be played by my opponent, that is considered engine assistance?
Im a begginer in Daily Chess and i think that the computer giving good moves for my opponent would be nice to learn better the positions but i don't want to cheat so i would appreciate clarifications about this question.

To be clear:  engines are allowed in some daily games OUTSIDE of Chess.com.  For any daily game in Chess.com, engines are not allowed.  Using an engine to practice a position counts as using an engine, so do not play against a computer in order to practice a position in an active Daily game.

I'm glad that I cleared this up for you.  Of course, once a game is completed, any kind of analysis you want to do is really good for improving (such as playing against a computer in some positions).

Best of luck with your games! happy.png
