playing players too high in rank

getting tired of playing players way out of my league 230/220/306 etc etc 

iam a 100 player and should play no higher than maybe 140/150 players 

how can i set it so i only play those players ?

you can't improve for yourself  when you get slaughtered every game 

There's an option to set seek ratings, but I don't believe they work for ratings under 500.

you are right seems it only works with 500 score and up players -- everyone else below that(500) gets what,s in the lower pool (100-499)-- i knew there would not be a simple descent answer..  about typing  faster  not sure what you mean - i only use one finger  on my good hand -- and for one finger - think i type pretty fast --oh well 

You can't improve that much as well by playing games with constant blunders by opponents. An opponent rating of 200 is in general playable for you.

Alternatively, try unrated games or even over-the-board games.

I myself had to get myself slaughtered over hundreds of games before I collected ideas from my losses and analysed similar moves appearing in these losses.

You can't improve playing blitz period, at least not for what you are struggling with.

You should be able to hold your own against players higher-rated than you if you take your time to carefully think about each move you play and the position that will result from playing it. Your opponent will likely think it will be easy and play really fast, potentially making errors you can capitalize on to gain an advantage. Just make sure not to do the same once you are ahead; it only takes one bad move to start losing again, especially if your advantage is not very large.
