How can I identify my play style? I currently use the English opening as white and as black I just mirror e4/e5. The English usually causes a positional game as I know however I feel I’m more of a tactical. How can I actually identify my play style and maybe change openings because of it

English can be a sharp game if black plays 1...e5 turning it into a sort of Reversed Sicilian with an extra tempo. If you play the English, you could play the Sicilian for black against 1.e4
