Puzzles - quality or quantity?

I am a reasonably new player, only been playing chess a few months and have reached around 1000-1100 rating.

Reading the forums and watching YT, I noticed that quite a lot of emphasis is placed on solving puzzles in order to develop pattern recognition for tactics. Is it better to solve a large number of different puzzles to expose yourself to as many positions as possible (perhaps 100 puzzles per day in rapid succession), or to really take your time, doing them in less volume but analysing each position in-depth (perhaps 10-20 puzzles)? Any feedback or tips are appreciated! happy.png
