Hello . Ive started playing chess month ago. Im 32 yo. I was able to reach from 350 to 525 but today i had huge lose streak. Im doing puzzles and learning some basics along the way. But i really lack consistency. I do analyze with game review all my loses as well. Is it okay to suck as a novice ? What should i be focusing more ?beside puzzles  Im playing pirc as blacks vs e4/d4 and italian as white. Only these two openings atm.  But my mid game and late game  is trashy ..

Anyone can tilt. Especially novices.

I was going to look at a few games but your profile says you haven't played any games...

I guess you have another account...

I think the lower rated you are the more inconsistent you play. Your new, just because you studied what you should be doing doesn't mean you can recall it in the moment under time pressure. Also chess has a huge number of positions that you are encountering for the first time or rarely, so finding the correct move path will be difficult. It will get easier over time. Don't expect your training to show up in the results straight away as many other people train and you might get a run of games where people are at their best, then you get tired and start tilting so you will get worse. Just try to enjoy yourself and back your intuition/ principles assessment up with calculation.

Also, end game drills. They are small number of pieces and pawns to co-ordinate therefore are great building blocks for late game conversion. You get to appreciate the power of the pieces and it will help you with working towards end game positions.

Portraying yourself aggressively as a víctim of chess can actually help you get better quicker than if you didn't do anything at all. I see you

consistent opening and defense can guide you through initial, trappy, 5-10 moves
midgame and endgame is all about pattern recognition and mind process speed, at least for us beginner

no matter what stage of the game and what aspect of chess skill, it take time to organize your chess brain to be of less flaw

I have been playing chess for a year, and did not soar in rating in the first month, too

Beginners don’t have to worry about tilt. Tilt occurs when a player with an established rating has a period in which they play at a level below thei strength—perhaps because of fatigue, stress, distractions, or the like. At your level, consistency is a major issue. So you may play one game without a major error but then make many errors the next. That is not tilt.

Please avoid playing Pirc….At your level you need to have open struggle with calculations, tricks and sacrifices. It will help in long run. Try 1. e4 e5
