Sharing my best scalp to date in rapid time formats. As the lower-rated player I had to take my time, especially when facing a brand new gambit opening! Careful, conservative play helped me to reach a slight advantage that I had to convert by keeping my cool. This experience taught me that there are several strong benefits of playing higher-rated opponents.
