What chess book is the best choice for beginners?

I've just began picking up chess as an hobby and I want to learn more about how to play better, techniques, openings, skills, and more. While this app is a great resource alongside other online options like courses, I need offline resources for learning chess. I think the best offline choice would be a book, so I'm looking for recommendations. I don't have anyone to teach me or discuss chess apart from Chess.com, so learning by myself has been a bit of challenge because it's hard to answers doubts and learn new things -- great resources would help me a lot!

I believe the title is "Chess fundamentals".

I also believe that it's too difficult for a beginner. Something more basic would be preferable to start with.

THE best beginners book is

It's only $10.00 Barnes and Noble

I recommend the "Winning Chess" series by Grandmaster Yasser Sierawan. It's both instructive and very enjoyable to read (very light, humorous, and helpful). Perfect for new players to learn and improve.

"Play Winning Chess" is the first one. After that it goes: "Winning Chess Tactics", "Winning Chess Strategies", "Winning Chess Openings", "Winning Chess Endings" ...

Fred Reinfeld’s Complete Chess Course is a great instructional book. I also recommend Irving Chernev’s Logical Chess Move by Move and his The Most Instructive Games of Chess Ever Played.

Fundamental Chess Openings, 100 Endgames You Must Know, 300 Most Important Chess Positions/Tactical Chess Positions. These would be my four main recommendations
