Whats a good CPU level to start at?

Im not trying to play competitively but I am trying to improve. Ive just started to get back into chess and I was wondering what a good CPU level to start at is. Anything is helpful, thanks!

It depends on how much experience you have. If you are little beyond learning the moves, start at 1 and move up if you win. Same thing for games- you may get beaten a few times but soon your rating will adjust to the level where you have a chance against the people you play.
Yeah it is but its also though of as computer controlled enemy or opponent. There are a few example of it being used in games.
