If you drew K+R vs king and you had the rook, the correct action isn't to block your opponent.
The correct action is to quit chess forever... you suck. Big time.
(although if you're under the age of 10, or under the rating of 1000, then probably don't quit, keep trying.)
I've recently blocked one player who forced me to mate him R+K vs K, and in the end I didn't (couldn't care). He got his well fought draw and I got to block him.
