england gambit  is a opening trick for black to checkmate white it starts with queen ponds opening  for white then kings pond opening for black.

Can you explain?

It would be a nice thing.

This is so easy to refute.

I’ve done 2 vids on this gambit.

Yyloh

I agree with nuttyt it is very easy to refute

There is a Doctor Who episode, the season finale of season 5. It is set in England, and there are two Ponds in it. That might be what the OP is referring to.

It's a refuted opening and doesn't work. Often white will pretend to fall for the trap and then play Nc3 and be better. If the trap doesn't work then you will just be worse.

Try to play this position for black. It's very unpleasant. This is what you should expect every time you play the Englund Gambit.

Omed

The Englund gambit gets interesting after d6 but the traps are just very easily encountered.

This is a 7 days old troll thread, already buried and forgotten. Why the hell did you dig it up? For what? For who?
