A review on Amazon for Even Dead Men Play Chess

"I am a huge chess fan and there are very few good novels that also include chess. This one was a very enjoyable read and a good mystery."

Enjoy!

This Eight is the best chess book i've ever read. It spans the 7th & the 18th century.

Written by Katherine Neville. I have it in the pocket version. Usually I prefer book bound copies.

It is a mystery, has humor, love, chess play and you will be amazed at all the chess figures that are brought up. The protagonist is just a pawn in this tale.

I picked it up and started to read it just because of the cover. I was a great read. It might be available free at libraries.

I agree, Denver, The Eight is a great book. I think you'll find that mine also have those qualities you enjoy in a mystery.

From a Book Review site in India:

"A perfect read when you want a bit of action, emotion and drama."- Indian Book Reviews

And, they're all filled with chess!happy.png

Based on your tip, I picked up a used copy at a Salvation Army thrift store. It sits on my bookshelf collecting dust until I can find the time to read it. :-)
