Yes,jazz master and saxophonist magician!I have Stellar regions,Coltrane Time and In Europe(amazing).Even if i am Pink Floyd fan and progressive rock,I like him because he is progressive too.I also like Duke Ellington,Otis Redding,Edith Piaf,Dizzy Gilespie,Fela Kuti,Miles and more..

Was listening to Your Lady (a studio track off of the original Live at Birdland album) and the thought hit me: did John Coltrane play chess? Something about the melodies if his soprano sax made me think of chess moves.

however, i would say “a love supreme” is too much to do anything else other than listen; it is not the best “background” music

i would say “soultrane” or “impressions”
