Blindfold chess

But you posted the blog and said,

"Does anyone wanna play a game of blindfold chess?"

So I took you up on it. I don't know about you put I am having so much fun with it.

Last night I woke up about 2 a.m. and in my head I had reversed the board and I was looking at it from the black side that I am playing. I didn't try to do that it just happened.

If you get to the point that you really can't see at least one move, then let me know and I will post the game progress.

Bye for now I have to go make the moves in PAINT.

no im enjoying it. its just really hard as im a kid and my mind isnt as advanced

RichColorado

Hey.  You are a kid and I am an Old man 73.

I have four grown sons and they all play chess.

I have 6 grandchildren and five of them play chess. They are in 1st grade, two in 2nd grade. two in 7th grade.

I have a lot of respect for you and impressed that you are doing this. Now when you make a mistake use that as a learning because the next time you play, you will improve. Mistakes are great learning tools.

In my things that I have posted there is one I think the name is "How to play blindfold chess better that a fifth grader."

I was teaching a chess class at an elementary school and that was some homework that I showed and gave the kids to do. I showed how to remember where the pieces were and they were just beginners.

I just looked at your profile. I see that you are in New York. I also wrote about "Marshall Chess Club." Because me and my wife were in NYC the last week of July when you were having a heat wave.

I was at that park near the big library. You know that there is the Marshall Chess club and the NYC chess club.

Bye for now

well i guess theres nothing really that you can learn from that post.

AND it would help if you played a standard opening

RichColorado

I  could have open with a standard opening. But you Started with e4 and since I didn' t know how you played.

I thought I would try an opening that not many people play, g5. If I had white I might have started with e4 also.

By the way that a4  move you mention was really g4. When I copied the moves to put it in PAINT I cut the bottom of the letter g. So it looks like an a.

I will correct the diagram so it will be right.

RichColorado

           Here is the corrected one

I will add your move and mine
