Chess Level in Geometry Dash

Correct me if this should go in Off Topic instead. I'm going to be making a chess-themed level in Geometry Dash. There's no set release date for now, but it won't be too soon. I have a few questions. This post will be updated when the level is added to. 1: Keeping in mind that Geometry Dash is a 2D game, should I make the chess pieces look like they do on a real life chess board, or should I make them look like they do in online chess? 2: When the pieces move, should they actually slide across the board or just vanish in one place and appear on the other? 2.1: When the knight moves, should it slide 2 spaces one way and 1 space another way (or vice versa), slide diagonally to its destination (may not be possible), or vanish in one spot and appear on the other?

Hmmmm, since it is a 2d game u , i think better is to make the pieces look as in this website ,and  when peices capture , vanishing is a good animation
