Hello. I play chess to keep my brain working, and yes it does help. But I am a kind of a player that can beat 2.4k raited player twice in a row and then lose to a 900 raiting. I think that in last two years (I started studying chess 2 years ago), and 5k games I finally understand the game, what positinal play means, center control and etc. But playing proper chess is kinda dull to me, no offence all it is just the way I am. And right before I quit chess i discovered gambits, like KG, Latvian, Budapesht, and flank attack and thats what kept me going.
I like agressive attacking play, making position as complecated as I possibly can and I love sacking peaces to get an attack going.
So what do I have to do in order to develope a mental attitude where I always alert and do not get sucked into the lines that i played before, so I would keep looking for new posibilities.
Thatnk you.
PS Examples of how I play, last 2 games I played
