What is your favorite chess style (aggressive, defensive, gambits, etc.)?

For white I would have to say gambits. Their the best! As for black, mines aggressive in a dumb way. I normally push pawns, but I also am defensive with it quite a bit. I am still trying to find my rythem with the black peices.

For us patzers, I can think of 4 "styles":

Aggressive/Defensive/Speculative(Gambitty etc.)/Close-to-the-vest

I think I play all four, but in organized otb, with opposition near my level, I tend to play a little aggressively with the draw in my pocket.

Genuinely strong players have more command of the chessical elements and can evince more than a primitive style.

Whats Close-to-the-vest? As well as Primitive style? Does that mean you just play by taking everything you can without any stratagy?

strategy? *pfft*, who uses strategy? not me certainly, I just make it up as I go ;-D
but if I do use strategy, I play defensively, being ready to capitalize when my opponent does something stupid, which happens with suprising regularity...

close to the vest is a non-risk-taking approach. One can be fairly aggressive and still play close to the vest. Speculative-gambitty is the opposite of close to the vest.

Primitive is having just a few otb expressions of style. I remember Josh Waitzkin being interviewed on tv. He was an IM and hadn't given up the game yet, and he said he was just discovering the artistic aspect of chess.
