If you need a chess set for any reason and one is not handy there's a set online that can be  printed up and used. This is a good analysis board since you can download it and resize it if need be.

An idea I have about this set. Glue the board and each piece on cardboard for durability. Then you could lightly cover the board with rubber cement. This will make the board sticky so you could then place each piece on the board and still be able to remove them  and move them around as you use them.

Or if you're in prison you and your fellow inmates could riot and seize control of the warden's office and print out this set on the warden's computer.   You know where you can hide it when your're thrown into solitary, the same place you hide your drugs.

To be frank ( pun intended) I feel somewhat offended by your remarks about prisoners and drugs.

Having been to prison I can tell you not everybody in there are drug abusing criminals. Good people end up in jail because the law has nothing to do with justice.

It is this kind of ignorance,discrimination  and generalisation that all the '-isms' are based on like sexism and racism. 

You display the same kind of mindset in your comments towards prisoners.

I would not be surprised if a good few members here have been to prison, I guess it is easy to think of them all as drug abusing thugs.

No,not even if I am a lowly ,drug abusing ( according to you ) ex-prisoner 

on another topic, I used to make my own chess sets in prison out of a variety of materials.

regular chess sets are available to all inmates, we never had to riot or brake into the print room for a set.

There were some exceptional players there.
