My company had a division picnic in the back parking lot. In addition to great barbecue food, carnival games, and face tattoos, they provided giant checkers, Jenga, Connect Four, Tetris, and chess. Chess seemed to be the most popular game. I do not often get to play chess with co-workers.
Giant Chess at Work
I doubt it was 3D printed Printing pieces that size would take months. You can actually buy giant chess sets like this on the internet.
I love seeing these large chess sets. My school has one in one of their student lounges and I've also seen them at some hotels, resorts, pool parties, garden parties etc. I even have a friend of a friend who has one of these large chess sets at their home ![]()
I say chess is a great game, but not a sport... unless you are playing speed chess while having to move these pieces. Then, that might become physical enough to be considered a sport ![]()
