I just remember kids moving randomly and saying the goal is to “take every peece”. I told them the goal is to checkmate the king. Then i ask them do they know how the peaces move. They know the knights move in an L. I arranged the board for them and told them to play. The first kid just moved the knight in a GIANT L and took the king.
So traumatizing
