What it's doing a Christian playing chess?  Rivalry and domination to an opponent, avoid it at all cost.  Play against the computer if you really have the urge to win in chess, not to blood an opponent down.  It's my best advice for you if you are really a Christian, I hope it doesn't hurt you dude!  God Bless you, and it will more if you avoid games and read his Verses and his Wisdom putting it in action.

Chessmater, in which book and chapter says that you can beat opponents down without the fear of God.  I can give you some books & chapters about rivarly and domination to your opponent as being an evil act.  All you do in chess is lies, you make feel bad your opponent and lose your time overall that the Lord gives you.   I want you guys don't commit the same mistake I made as playing chess and be superior to others, that's not the way of a Christian should behave.  And please, Chessmaster, don't try to fool others trying to make them think that they don't anything about the Bible, you don't know the time spent on studying the bible and searching about all these sinful behaviors. Neither I know about the you had spent, but please tell me: Where in the Bible it's written that it's not sinful or you make any good to play chess?  Try to stay more away from the world both of you guys. Nobody can't fool God. God loves you.

I don't know, Qe2 might be viable,it certainly panned out fairly well, the worst I would have done with qf6 was get into a really hectic endgame

I prefer Qe2 to the moves I had been playing
