well i thought he was laughing at the chess fans, but i probably just misunderstood that most effectiv for the public.
The story behind this is that, winning the 20th game against Karpov, he had almost secured the world champion title retention, that's the reason for his "happyness"... the game, in his opinion wasn't perfect, but since it was filled with sacrifices and nice tactics it was still very entertaining for the public... :)
He's a pro not only at chess... :P
