Hi, has anybody considered to promote the pawn into a piece to that piece's square it is heading to? One problem if a pawn is heading towards the kings square. In this case if a pawn reaches kings square thus declaring a win. Promoting a pawn to a queen no matter where it lands never made sense. With this new variant every pawn now has a value and other strategies involved with more opportunities to promote and checkmate with knights and bishops. Looking forward for comments.
