new table slam feature

People are doing this in the middle of the game, it is a little annoying now tbh, I have 4 sec left and my board is smashed

Yes it shakes my board so much that I misclicked and lost

Can see it, my opponent did 2-3 times when I had very low time

Yes I can confirm as well => your opponent CAN see it and it is usually done to be annoying I have found. I'll be looking for that next move and all of a sudden am disrupted by the stupid hand slam. It's really quite offensive and I cannot seem to see any way to disable it from happening. With all of the notices about not aborting a game you'd think the devs would also attend to polite gamesmanship better.

The feature was funny initially, but I'd like a way to disable it now, too.

I agree, I'd love to disable this feature. It causes me to loose focus in bullet matches and misclick pieces because players will spam it.

Thank you for posting this thing. I had no idea what the heck it was though i did suspect a new feature after Carlsen's table slam. Btw have you guys seen the cat meme where that cat is just watching the game, and Magnus slams the table and the cat just falls off?

I've never had trouble with people doing it and it affecting my game but I definately see why it could be annoying. Granted I don't play much bullet chess, but there should be a way to disable it. That was one thing where Carlsen set a bad chess example. lol

Your opponent CAN see it, it is highly disruptive and rude and is done to disrupt the game in my experience. I have had to resign numerous games because of it which is highly unfair. So I have resorted to reporting and blocking whoever does it, which obviously has done nothing because the devs clearly don't care to fix or remove it!

I've never seen an opponent do that. I didn't know it synced to the other person. There should be a "rage" option for the loser though, such as flipping the board (only after a loss).
