Pawn is always worth 1. Knight and bishop are 3, though some say that bishops are closer to 3.5 in many positions.

Some books give knight and bishop the same value (e.g. 3).
Some others give the bishop a slightly higher value arguing for instance that the bishop has more mobility.
What are your thoughts/views?
