Pardon. Change White knight by White Bishop in g8. Mislooked.

Can't black just queen the pawn to avoid mate in 2?  Would 1. Nf6+ Kf4 2. Qc1+ with mate on next move be better?

I could be missing something, I do not usually do well with these puzzles.  I think it is mate after Nf6

Instead of Qb1 why doesn't black play Pe5 which would allow for a Kd5 escape. Even if white plays Rxe5+ black could sacrafice the queen (Qxe5) to get out of mate.

I also agree: mate in 1 with Nf6+

First, you have to change g8 into white bishop per GINOPFRITZ, so there's no Nf6#. the N on g8 is a white Bishop.
 1. Qb1 ...   2. with lots of variations depending on what black's next move.happy.png
 if black moves:
Qxa3 then Pc3#
Qb3 then Pxb3#
Qc3 then Nxc3#
Qd3 then Pxd3#
Qe3 then Rxe3#
Pxd5 then Bxd5#
any other moves then Qb4#
