Well to say fun with chess i have been playing as a member for a while now and todays games i have had abusive oppnents one called me (a boring retard) when all i did was play with only my king left if they had some knoledge of stopping me move round the board i would have been check mated surley weather you play for a stalemate its still a play ???
And the other plaer well out and out abuse they took round 4 mins to move as soon as they had i had a message saying make my move to which i replied that not to pressure as they took thier time too. Then abuse got even worse i was told il use exact words so plaease take no offence (syop bieng a granny aand just f@%king move.) then i decided to think a bit he just posted more by saying(just f@~king move) to which i stopped playing why should i ressign and lose rating to abusive players so i left it running for 10 mins which i got 2 chats striat after each other (F~~king move...... then F##king resign) so i decided im not goingto do that and report themwhile im doing this they then offer a draw which i thought no im not twice in the end they did resin themselves...
But this abuse is becoming regular on here so why dont they act quicker on reporting a player?
Chess.com doesn't have enough staff to respond immediately to a report. There are many times when it appears no one is minding the store.
They ask players to close chat or block abusive players in the meantime.
