You joined on Friday. You should play some more games and then see how good you actually are. Spend more time practicing than posting in the forums and you'll get better. P.S. With this attitude, you will never win.

It's all relative - keep practising and give it some time and you will get better. If you're a fairly new player then I wouldn't be surprised if you find it deeper and more complex than you expected, the more you look into it. Maybe if you post one of your games then people here can give you some advice. Also, tactics trainer (and studying tactics generally) is a great way for beginning players to improve.

I'm much worse at chess than I expected. I've won hardly any of the game's I've played and I'm frankly concerned about how bad it is. Has anyone else gotten that feeling?
