1900 vs. 1900. Excellent Match.

This was a very well fought match.  Including errors in judgement, missed draws, brilliant defense, a pawn sac, and some complicated maneuvering.  Lots going on? You bet!  You'll have to play through this one slowly, and any comments are appreciated, but I hope you enjoy it!

Many thanks to my opponent for such a good game.

ih8sens,

Nice game: very enjoyable to flip through the game turn-by-turn and study the position as well as annotations by a Class A player.

Nice game, and R vs N+B is always a fun ending... but I think there's some bad tactics around move 30-33, white plays a bad idea and you let him get more for it than he should have... 32...Qxf3? (you note, "probably better was Qc8," and it is better, but am I missing something?... what's wrong with the very simple Rxd2 and after he answers exf5 you remain up a full piece with the Queens off the board.

Looks good.  Nice idea.  Of course, all 3 did the trick anyways ... thanks for the extra idea though... I've been annotating my games without an engine lately and so I am liable to slip up from time to time :).  Thanks!
