Considering she's only played 9 games her tactics (and all round game) are incredible. I think you should already be spending time on correcting some of her basic strategical mistakes as well (3.Ba6 for example).

I do try to point out those mistakes mid game, and that is why she played 5.C5, so she can put her knight on a better square. Also her piece developement is a bit slow. But hey, word girl was on and she was distracted...
that's great! I have a six year old daughter I am starting to train in chess. The attention span is low but she loves it and seeing your daughters progress gives me hope that I'm not starting too soon. thanks for the post.

I will probably post her progress from now on. This game was again to see if she is able to see her opportunites when they come, and in the end I gave her the win because her attention span was running short.
