A 1200 miniature: my first game post
Amongst each other, we newbies rarely have quick, combination-based games of 15 moves or less like I see so many brilliant examples of in the Polgar book. I was lucky to have such a game recently against a 1291 rated opponent. I'd like to share the game in my first post, along with some analysis, feel free to comment and criticize!
Opening: Queens Gambit Declined
time restriction: 20 minutes each
1265(me) vs. 1291

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I didn't know you could get such a nice center after 3 cxd5, now I see why e6 is usually played.

2... Nf6 by black is called the Marshall defence, considered somewhat dubious nowadays. 3. cxd5 Nxd5 4.e4 is a quick way to get a nice pawn centre and an open column to work with.
