Yes, nice play.

I am starting to see that in positions like this one, 9...f6 is not the right idea, at least not at that stage of development.

14 Bd3 looks more consistent than taking the pawn on a6.

i took the pawn to gain a tempo as this is a 15 min game i wanted him whether he wants to be mated or win my bishop

Time control aside, if your goal is to mate him, wouldn't you rather use the bishop in the actual attack?

Yes. Looking back at the game Bd3 was alot better of a move than BxP. Thanks for the tip.
