So I played this game last night against the chessmaster computer, on master level, with unlimited time. Usually this engine can beat me (though I have a few wins when it plays a wonky Ruy Lopez defense, and I've basically solved it when it plays the Berlin) fairly easily. I would assume it to be around 1900 elo strength.
It didn't play so well this game, however, and some moves surprised me. I'm trying to remember all of my games from beginning to end, and then writing them down without using a board. It's challenging and an interesting exercise. Here I'm afraid I don't get to show you how I win, but I can show you up to my two pawn advantage. I was able to convert the material into a win fairly easy (it's two pawns up in the endgame).
The engine played the pirc which I'm not exactly familiar with. The moves for the white side are so logical though that I think I managed pretty well.
