A Struggle of Imbalances

As is the case with the vast majority of chess games, this game was decided in the battle between imbalances from opening to middlegame to the nonexistent endgame. Black's verve and sacrificial courage was rewarded with atttacking prospects; however, in a fittingly ironic turn, his desire to recoup material led to the dissipation of his own favorable imbalances. White gained the upper hand and closed the game out with a well-calculated forcing sequence.

Thanks for that!  I enjoyed reading your notation regarding the knights.  The initial knight/pawn exchange at my level was of particular interest.
