Nice work, Ryan, you're the man. I just talked you up (again!) on the NZ Chess home page. You should hire me as your PR representative.
Meanwhile, your chess.com blitz rating convinced me that 1400 really wasn't good enough and I've painfully tried to play faster and so raised it to over 1700. I have self imposed a ban on myself until after Titled Tuesday on Wednesday - I don't want to risk falling below 1700 until then - it's just a slightly less embarrassing level.

Congratulations! I wish to reach it too. What preparations did you make to reach 2000?
@Immortal101 I seem to be play the best after playing an OTB tournament, and I also have been working quite seriously on a good book recently (Herman Grooten's Chess Strategy for Club Players), which is an excellent book, with many great puzzles and exercises. Basically a combination of playing strong players and working from a book helped me achieve well in OTB chess, and as a consequence in online blitz!

Totally agree, Ryan, usually an improvement in OTB gives better results in blitz, but not the other way around.
This whole global lockdown thing really got in the way of life happening, so a few hundred blitz games later and I managed to get 2300! https://www.chess.com/live/game/4798147745
