Caro-Can 🚽🥴

My friends at chess.com ...
Imagine sitting in the can and trying to get "it" out can be a lavatorial hardship. Now playing these types of games, Caro-Can's can give you hazards of constipation on the king-side.
And what followed in this case was a rage-quit where black tried to punished white with flagging things (himself) out with more than 4 min on the clock.

Do not ask what the the "Kahn" can do for you, but what you can do on the Caro "can" 4 U...

& when the skunk is poked with a bayonet the "can" can obviously stink... 🦨...........

This is another "Can" that was not Karo to begin with...

Constipation on the board as I played another "Can" and king-side was too stuffed, bad time! That "octopus" in the form of Ng8 was dead from the get go. Not good for a squid. Not good at all...

Is there any particular reason that you decided to butcher poor Marcus Kann's name?

My good fellow, I have not such intentions.

The Caro-"Can" is what I call the variation of Karo-Kann that starts from Bf5 trying to stay on the diagonal b1-h7 after being pushed around (Bayonet-Attack) then the e6-pawn-gambit happens and as the result black's king-side is totally jammed. And since being "jammed" is constipational, so we have the Karo-Can version of the Karo-Kann.

If you ever had these hardships on the can, you will understand.

I don't understand how butchering Horatio Caro's name as well helps your case in any way.

Also, there's no point in inventing dumb names for variations that already have a name.

Ok... in other words: Just try to go through the games I post here and do not linger too much on names and butchers and that sort of stuff... So focus only ... "JUST THE GAMES!"

Now, right now I have just played another "Can" as you see below and same stuff happening once more today. First was unrated game and this is a rated rapid game where same ideas prevailed and an opponent that has more points than me succumbed to the constipation of the "Can".
Now you tell me that I have butchered a name here and there while, the simplest of, ideas, that my opponents used to get themselves into a lot of troubles at the cr*pper today. And now do not tell me that I have anything against any rappers... and their names... meh

It's no secret that after 7.e6?! Qd6! White is in some trouble, and this is known since 85 years ago.

With respects and regards Mr. "International Master": I have played these lines vs similar rated opponents and usually the games end like this. At my highest I have been 2200.

Alireza also plays a lot of Caro and yes if you invest tons of energy to learn all the traps well you could be a super GM doing it.

However Caro is not a forgiving tool for players at my level. I used to play it before and I lost lots of games in the process. No other opening game me so many backlashes like the Caro, not to mention Jeroming-gambitters that can give up a piece for no apparent reason and still win...

So in that regard, the secret that you are referring to is kept wellll out of the reach of most players about and just below my rating-range. I would say the "Bayonet" is a nice tool against the Caro players I use to play. And the joke is on the ones that keep with dear life to the pawn gambitted on e6 and get constipated like this. Now the last game I showed would not be possible if my opponent was better prepared. Yet the secret was not his to know, obviously.

Caro - Kann makes my life hard as Black (I never play it) but playing with white is just fantastic.

I love the Caro Kann as black. It's basically been free rating points. In the last 30 days with the black pieces I've won 82% of my games. And if I'm playing white and I see it, that's just as good since I know how to destroy it. The games are all on my youtube channel in case anyone is interested.

I believe it was Mr T. who said: "I sure envy the 18%."

Or was it "I pity those..."?!🤔Well... not sure! happy

I have just played another variation that I call the "Caro-"Can"-stipation", as you will see in this game. Kingside is totally constipated and I had the luxury to give up a knight since black's pieces are locked and blocked, have no time to get into the game: http://chess.com/game/142758576972
