Caro-Can 🥴🚽
Caro-Kann is the most perfect opening for black against white for beginners. It immediately fights for center control. And after all is said and done it's the easiest opening to learn. I would use this opening and stick with it for the rest of my chess career!
maybe skill issue? caro kann is not a bad opening thoo~
There are many other issues, however skills is not a part of that problem. At least 95% of times this games I play are lost for "Can" players. Once in while my cognitive abilities plays tricks on me, that and time issues.
A slow yet lingering demise with "con"stipational issues. The game is here: https://www.chess.com/game/165999014030
My friend @borovicka75, your Bayonet game is on the roll. ![]()
I will assure you many more will come your way. This "Can" gambit is a great way to have lots of fun, well for white that is.

I'm curious why, in move 56, you promoted to Rook instead of Queen. You simply don't do things at random so there is a good reason. But why not Queen when, in this setup, Queen would give double-hit capability to b file just as well. Loved the game!! Thank you so much!

My friend the underpromotions sometimes comes out of sheer frustrations that the opponent is not resigning. The opponent was down materially and he had no time on the clock. Besides the opponent was going to chop off the promotion any way, and the rook would be just as lethal in case he did not take it out. Ra8# is check mate.
Much obliged. ![]()
After 11...e5 things don't look so rosy for white.
12.Qf7 e6 13.Qxb7 Qb4+ seems more or less forced, but after the queen swap material is equal and Black has great central control.
Master @pfren thank you for analyzing this game.
I just did a engine analysis and rather than g5 on move 11 white can play Bg5, and there if black plays e5?? Bye Bye black queen.
