     Center game is fun - offering two center (in this game 3!) pawns for deadly tempo compensation, which could lead to a deadly attack, or a completely lost endgame!

=) yes, and it allows for a lot of ! marks. However, the gambit is unsound - I think, I just have not looked up the refutation!

Yes, but it also is called center game. I call this the shuttle variation - no book required! =)
