If you like to read chess stories I certainly must recommend you all the short novel "The Royal Game" by Stefan Zweig, is really awesome, you will find sometimes that amazing lure that only "the royal game has to turn a beautiful passtime into a sick obssession......Really Good. And what about the movie "The Luzhin Defense" with John Turturro.....?
I brought a great book for 2pound from a second hand bookseller called the complete chess addict by Mike Fox and Richard James it gives all sorts of details about chess. in the book it says the best Entertainer and actor to play chess was Humphrey Bogart he used to play in the new york chess cafe for money and was an expert player who could of made aliving at chess but became a movie star.he played all hes life and beat most people in Holliwood.
