Moves like 18...Rxe2+ always seems to freak the hell out of me, as I'm paranoid I'm always missing some miraculous defense. Somehow, I always tend to save my pieces and slowly strangle the opposing player...needless to say I found myself a sore victim of my procrastination to just waste everything and wrap it up. Really inspiring, thanks for that.

it is always amazing to me that people try to attack before castleing.  Sometimes it is warrented, but most of the time it is good to castle first..

Shouldn't white have something better than 4. d3?  I understand that 4. Bc4 is loosing the e pawn to Nxe4 but i think both sides have a variety of avenues after that.  Am i missing something?

d3 suggests that he wanted to do queenside castling with the Be3 and Qd2 formation.

but your'e right, Bc4 is probably better - but it leads the game to the giuoccoso piano, a much different (and more stable) system.
