Thank you. I didn't see checkmate immediately, but fortunately I did see it before taking the queen or the rook.
I'm not sure of the advantages of playing or transposing to a center game... It didn't seem to really offer any advantage to him.

I had signed up for a few tournaments and they all started at the same time. And it almost all of these tournaments I seem to be the lowest rated player.
I've probably lost 20 of my last 25 games.
So it was nice to get a win just now and I feel so good about it, I thought I'd share.
I'm happy to read any feedback you have.
