Thanks for looking Masta. May I ask where you're from in central Illinois? No address necessary, I just wanna see how close we reside Tongue out

That's a nice observation about my light-squared bishop only moving twice - I hadn't noticed that. I ran this game through the computer analysis on chess.com (for premium members, I believe its strength is 2700), and it claims the only blunder in the game is my 27. Rf5. I'm glad the game ended in a draw - we were both pretty wore out from it!

Evidently I'm not the best of chess players but you said on move 21. that you had run out of steam and therfore logically went for queening the pawn - normally I would agree, but I think maybe there were other avenues you could have taken. I think you could have tried out a lot of different variations seeing as even with a few moves he can't really activate his piece.

Rb1 looks like a cheap alternative but then your a-pawn might mix it up a little with a few steps forward. Obviously he will probably push his own a-pawn to block yours however I think this might take out some of the sting when he plays Qb6+ ;P

Thanks for the comments! After seeing all your opinions, it looks like I could've gotten a win after all. I should have just looked a bit harder for those winnings moves! But you know what they say, 20/20 hindsight Tongue out
