Above is a 5 minute Blitz game I played today that was highly amusing and one of my best Blitz games ever thus far. What do you think about the middlegame?

Hmm...it does seem to spoil the party. I'll take a look and see what mistakes I made, but for a Blitz game, the attack wasn't bad. In Blitz I don't have time to calculate every variation so I mainly follow intuition and quickly determine if my sac would be helpful to me.
17.Qh5 should win and there must be others there.
