H-file persitence

Just had a neat little 1 min quick game I wanted to share as it shows how peristence pays off. Right at the beginning I saw a long-term potential weakness and just started putting pressure on it, stubbornly, peristently, until my threats gave way to victory and checkmate!

It's always funny to me how we all know how dangerous the h file is, yet we still fall prey to attacking patterns like the one incorporated here. Indeed, many master games show that this suceptibility is not unique to amateurs like myself - showing just how effective h-file perisence can be.

BTW- can anyone tell me what the name of the opening response of black on moves 2 and 3 is?

Looks like some kind of hypermodern defence to me, with the early fianchetto

but the queenside pawn to open followed up by the queenside knight coming out suggest otherwise

ps - i knew a girl from Mississauga once. if you see her tell her Robert said hello.

but with a hypermodern defence we wouln't see my oponent play 1. ... d5  that is usually reserved for a later point in the game to attack the center...

hmm...

BTW - mississauga is a big place friend, so that's a tall order you've given me! lol
